Another destination of my cross-country tour, San Antonio, was a real jewel. The Alamo, the Riverwalk and a friendly charm almost enticed me to stay here instead of Phoenix. I toured the Alamo where we found that almost 90% of the victims had Irish surnames. There is a huge statue dedicated to their memory in front of the Alamo. Part of which can be seen on this page. To the left is a picture of one of the last surviving W.W. Woolworth's in the country. Other highlights include the Crockett Hotel and of course the world famous Riverwalk.
Q. What does Ozzy Osbourne and my old dog Chloe have in common?
